To use BetShare, create a bet and click 'share my bet' to split it into shares. The creator pays the full wager upfront and can cancel the bet. Friends buy shares, contributing to the account. Shares can be shared via email, direct link, text, Facebook, or Twitter/X.
To get started, just create a bet like you normally would. Then, click 'share my bet' at the bottom of your bet slip. You can choose how many different "shares" you want to split the bet into. The number of shares and the amount you decide to "reserve" will be your part of the overall bet. The person who creates the BetShare (the captain) pays the full wager upfront and is the only one who can cancel the bet. As your friends buy shares, their contributions will be added to your account.
