When will the site be closing down?
TwinSpires will stop accepting sports and casino wagers in Michigan on Tuesday, September 6,
2022. The site will be available until October 6, 2022 to allow funds to be withdrawn.
Funds still in accounts after October 6, 2022 will be returned to you at the current address on
your account by check within 30 days.
Open wagers will continue to settle, and you will receive a check at the current address on your
account within 30 days of settlement. If you need to update your address, please contact Player
Services immediately.

My Account is Locked. How do I unlock it?
An account can be locked for a few reasons, the most common being an invalid password
entered several times.
This security lock will clear if you reset your password using the “Forgot Password” button on

What happens to my account information once the site is shut down?
TwinSpires is required to retain account information pursuant to applicable legal and regulatory
requirements. Generally, we do not share your personal information with unaffiliated third
parties expect for purposes of our business and marketing activities. If you would like to change

How can I withdraw money from my account?

We offer several methods for easy withdrawal:
Online: To submit a withdrawal request from the main wagering page, click on the “My
Account” icon in the top right hand corner of the site - it should look like a person in a small
circle. From the list of options, select “My Funds” and then “Withdraw Funds.” Funds can be
withdrawn via check mailed to the registered account holder's address on record and will be
mailed within five to seven (5-7) business days of receiving the request. Funds can also be
electronically transferred to your bank account via Online banking, PayPal, ACH, TwinSpires
Prepaid Play+.
By Phone: Withdrawals may be requested via phone by calling our Player Services center
9:00am to 6:00 pm ET. Withdrawal requests can only be made by the account holder and upon
verification of the account holder's identity. Withdrawal requests made via phone will be
processed by check mailed to the registered account holder's address on record and will be
mailed within five to seven (5-7) business days of receiving the request.
When is the last date I can deposit funds?
August 30, 2022 is the cut off point for depositing funds. Funding options can be viewed by
attempting to make a deposit or withdrawal by clicking on "welcome username" and you will see
options for depositing or withdrawing.
Can I add new payment methods to withdraw?
New payment methods cannot be added to your accounts after August 30, 2022 (excluding

Will I still be able to use Free Bets?
Yes - Free bets will be available until September 6, 2022 when we will stop accepting wagers.
Bets
When can I bet until?
Players will be able to wager until September 6, 2022. After September 6, 2022 the ability to
wager will be removed from the site, but you can still access your account and future wagers
until October 20, 2022.
What will happen to my open bets?
Any open wagers will be settled as normal once the event has ended and you will receive a check
within 30 days of settlement.

Players will have the ability to void or Cash Out open bets. The Cash Out feature is only
available for eligible bets. If you wish to void a wager please contact Player Services. Please

Will there be an opportunity to Cash Out bets?
Yes - The ability to Cash Out will continue to be available on all eligible open bets.
How to access Cash Out?
The Cash Out label on the Betslip indicates if the betting market is available for Cash Out.
Once bet is placed, a “Cash Out” button is available both in the event page in line with the
betting markets, as well as in the “My Open Bets” tab.
When the bettor visits the bet history, a Cash Out option is provided there as well.
Is there an opportunity to void bets?
Yes - If you do not want to use the cash-out feature or it is not available, any future wagers that
will settle after September 6, 2022 can be canceled by calling Players Services. Please get in

Can I download/view my bet history?
This feature will be available until October 20, 2022. You can see your wagers for the current day
or any date range you wish. Click on the start and end calendars to choose the date range you
want to see. After this date you will need to contact Players services via:

When is there automatic withholding?
The reporting threshold for sports wagering is 300-to-1 Odds and a $5,000 payout.
Am I still responsible for paying income tax on gambling winners?
You should consult with a tax professional regarding your tax questions. Just because your bets
do not trigger a W-2G and IRS report by TwinSpires DOES NOT mean you're not responsible
for paying taxes on certain winnings.
