TwinSpires regularly updates its software to keep your account safe and secure. Use this article to check that your computer, mobile device, and browser are compatible with TwinSpires.
What you need to know
Starting November 17, 2026, the TwinSpires iOS app requires iOS 17 or newer. If your iPhone or iPad is on iOS 16 or earlier, you'll need to update to keep using the app.

- Windows 10 or 11
- Mac Catalina
Mobile devices
Compatible operating systems:
- Android: Android 12 or newer
- iPhone and iPad: iOS 17 or newer (starting November 17, 2026)
Compatible browsers
Download the latest version of your browser:
How to update your iPhone or iPad
- Open Settings.
- Tap General.
- Tap Software Update.
- Follow the prompts to download and install the update.
Important details
- If your iPhone or iPad can't update to iOS 17, you can still use TwinSpires.com in your mobile browser.
- An outdated browser or operating system may cause problems accessing TwinSpires. Update as soon as possible.
TwinSpires no longer supports:
- Internet Explorer 11 (IE11)
- EdgeHTML (legacy Microsoft Edge)
- Smart TVs
- Silk browser (Kindle Fire)
