To place a wager with a Live Operator, follow these steps:
- Call Player Services and select Option #1 for wagering.
- Select Option #1 again for wagering with a Live Operator.
- The Operator will first ask for your Account Number and then PIN # to verify.
- You will be provided with your current account balance.
- Please provide your wager in this order to the Operator:
- Track
- Race #
- Amount (dollar amount of base wager)
- Pool (wager type)
- Runners
- The Operator will repeat the wager back to you. Listen carefully and remember:
- The wager you accept is the wager that is placed.
- It is your responsibility to make sure your wager is correct. If the wager was incorrectly repeated to you, you must correct the Operator.
- If the Operator reads back the wager incorrectly and you accept it, the incorrect wager will be placed and is your wager.
- You will not be entitled to a refund or payout if an incorrect wager was placed that you accepted.
- You must confirm the wager, an "unconfirmed" wager will not be placed. If you move onto your next wager that is considered "acceptance" of the previous wager.
- Once you confirm your wager, an attempt to submit the wager to the Tote System is made by the Operator. This is done after each individual wager. There are several reasons a wager may not be submitted. If the wager is not submitted the Operator will explain that reason to you. No refunds or payouts will be given to wagers that are not accepted by the Host Track.
- You will be able to make as many wagers with a Live Operator as you like.
- After all wagers are placed, the Operator will inform you of your (1) total amount wagered and (2) your new balance.
Please allow ample time before the start of a race to place your wager. Keep in mind some tracks or races may have a higher volume of bettors, or may coincide with another busy track post time. It is your responsibility to see that your wagers are placed before pools close. No refunds or payouts will be due if wagers are not accepted before pools closed.
