What is MFA?
MFA stands for Multi-Factor Authentication and it is a multi-step security feature that is
meant to keep your account and personal information safe.
Can I opt out of the multi-factor authentication like we could previously?
No, for regulatory reasons, Multi-Factor Authentication is a mandatory account security feature.
Will the verification code go to my email or phone?
It will go to your registered phone number on the account.
What if I don’t receive the verification code or the code does not work?
You can click the “resend token” button below the entry field on the verification
page. We recommend waiting around 1 minute before clicking it again to avoid
running into token error issues.
If I have a new device will I have to enter an authentication code?
Yes, each time you log in on an unknown device an authentication code will be sent
to your phone, even if you have opted out of strong authentication on your account.
Do I have to enter the verification code to access my account?
Yes, if you are prompted to enter a code at login, you must enter the code in order
to gain access to your account.
What if I have further questions regarding Multi-Factor Authentication?
